Visage des Enfants de la Guinée Bissau

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Normandy, in France, Visage des Enfants de la Guinée Bissau (VEGB) is a non-governmental organization who assists vulnerable children & communities in Guinea Bissau, West Africa.

VEGB is dedicated to helping children living in extreme poverty and bringing resources such as health care, education, nutrition and economic opportunities to the local population. Together with our members, with their partners & volunteers on the ground in Africa, we touch almost every aspect of the African community through different programmes. Whether they are collecting and distributing school supplies, sending students to Professional schools overseas or bringing medicines to Health centers.

VEGB’s members have one thing in common: a passionate desire to help the people of Africa to solve critical problems and build a better future for their children and communities.

We give orphans in need and children facing extremely precarious situation in Guinea-Bissau new hope through education. We support age-suitable training opportunities for children and young adults, to enable them to make a better future, for themselves, for their country, for a better world.

With our work, at VEGB we are looking to make a sustainable contribution to easing a specific case of poverty in the world and thus lead to sustainable development. We believe that this is possible, which is why we want to make it easier for some of the most underprivileged in Guinea-Bissau to develop into responsible citizens of their country. A better future can thus emerge from a difficult present.
